The teachers of violinist Emma Roijackers and pianist Florian Verweij thought at the time that Emma and Florian might just click musically. They were right. The teenagers, who were studying at the Sweelinck Academy of the Conservatorium van Amsterdam, quickly worked their way through a stack of chamber music and learned to play the most beautiful works. Afterward, they went their separate ways at the same institution. Now, a decade later, they’ve reconnected. At the invitation of AVROTROS Klassiek, they recorded a CD together.
